How long have you been doing this
and is it your full time job? |
| |
|
| |
The owner,
Brian Norton, has been engaged in professional video
since February 1997, with experience in video production
through local cable TV prior to that, doing everything
from commercials to weddings, with weddings being
his primary work. Video production is his full time
career. All those who videotape for him have been
in the field for many years, are also professionals
and use the same type of professional, digital equipment
he uses. Brian prefers to capture all of his client's
events himself, though scheduling limitation sometimes
require that he use fellow professionals to do so. |

What type of equipment
do you use? Is it all professional? |
 |
| |
|
| |
| New
Creations utilizes some of the most advanced
video capturing/editing equipment in the industry.
From our cameras to our editing systems, everything
we do is in a crystal clear digital environment.
Our cameras, our tapes, our editing devices
- all digital. We upgrade whenever we are
able to and deem it necessary to remain on
the cutting edge of current technology. |

If we meet with you,
will there be a high pressure sell? |
| |
|
| |
We are
very low key. You will meet with the owner in a very
casual setting, where your interests and concerns
take center stage, so that all your questions will
be answered. We hope to earn your business, and we
first do that by making sure you feel completely comfortable
with us and our product. We believe the quality of
our work sells itself, so no high pressure is needed. |

How are you dressed
on the day of our wedding? |
| |
|
| |
All of our videographers
are professionally attired, either a tux or appropriate
suit. |
| |
|
| 5. |
Should we worry about anything
not being captured on our special day? |
 |
| |
|
| |
| You
hire a professional plumber, electrician,
etc. because you trust they know what tools
to use and how to solve your particular problem.
Likewise, the primary benefit of hiring a
professional videographer is that you can
count on the fact that we know what needs
to be captured during your day. From guests
and the bride arriving, to the key moments
of the ceremony, the introductions, first
dance, blessing, toast, parent dances, and
every other essential moment of your day,
all will be included in your final video.
Of course we capture much that we end up not
including in your edited video, and that is
where the professional creative eye comes
in during the editing process. The bottom
line is that you will be satisfied that all
that should be included will be included.
You can have confidence that we know what
we are doing. |
|
| |
|
| 6. |
Will we ever feel that you are
"getting in the way"? |
 |
| |
|
| |
| Our
style is the "fly on the wall" approach.
It is our job to document your day, in a creative
manner, in the most unobtrusive way possible.
Sometimes we may ask the couple to give each
other a quick kiss or something else to create
a special moment for the video, but for the
most part we simply stand back and capture
everything as it happens. We'll let the photographer
be the one to take up some of your time, as
that is what they are hired to do. We feel
we are hired to capture the true memories
of what actually happened, so you can relive
them forever. |
|
| |
|
| 7. |
How will you work
with our other vendors? |
| |
|
| |
We
recommend that you hire one of the professional photographers
we work with and refer, since we already work as a
team together. However, if that is not the case, we
always make it a point to kindly introduce ourselves
to all of your vendors - the photographer, the reception
coordinator, the band or DJ, etc, so that we can all
work together to help make your day as special and
stress-free as is possible. |

|
| 8. |
On what format will
our wedding video be delivered to us? |
| |
|
| |
Although our clients do have
a choice of formats, all clients receive their video
on DVD. |
